Ripstick/Wave Wheels
I have been looking for replacement wheels for my wave, and want to know if anyone has messed arround with different rollerblade wheels to see if anything is better/faster/more durrable than the stock replacement wheels sold for the ripstick and wave.
The specs on the stock wheels are 77mm and 84a. For those who don't know what that means (i just found out a few hours ago), the 77mm is the diameter of the wheels and the 84a is the durribility/hardness of the wheel. I have found some larger wheels and some harder wheels, but don't know just how much larger diameter will fit, and how stiff is too stiff (that's what she said). I have a feeling if i use too stiff wheels it will not grip worth a damn. I've gotten pretty good at ripping up hill, but it eats the hell out of the wheels. Thanks in advance for any advice or recomendations |

Re: Ripstick/Wave Wheels
Thats a good thought. Let me know if that works. The wheels wear out pretty quick.
the knew DLX ripstick board has better bearings so I guess its faster. |

Re: Ripstick/Wave Wheels
I can't imagine why it wouldn't work though.
Just go buy some and try it. If it doesn't work return the wheels and say they were the wrong ones. Just make sure you can return them. |

Re: Ripstick/Wave Wheels
yeah i tryed some 80mm 82a wheels and the back one lasted about 2 and a half hours. To be fair when it started wearing out quickly i just tore the shit out of it. I couldn't find any wheels with the higher durribility. I saw some 90a but they were like 66mm or somthing and short wheels go slow so i didn't try them.
