it seems like alot more people are switching to rap instead of rock but i am sticking to rock (especially CKY). rap is o.k. once in a while. tell me wut u think is the best

I havent seen anyone change, i actually like Run DMC and the Beastie Boys. Event though they do play hard rock too, but still.

I was into rap before I started skateboarding, but then rock/punk music started to appeal to me and it really made sense. Hey Cky I see you got the red in your name, you should make your moderators names green or something.

I am forced tolisten to ra all day, I live in a "black" community. Ihave to listen to it on the bus, in comp class, in gym, people playing it outside. But i like Rock.

Lmao I am in a hick town, but amazingly I still hear alot of rap. Probably becasue everyone thinks they are in pittsburgh, despite it being like 30 minutes away.

i would say it would have to be rock i am not a big fan of the rap stuff. i like certain songs and mixes like the grey album and on the eve of war by jedi mind tricks but that is about the only rap i like

some rap is okay but most of it is just stupid, for example the song "so sick of love songs" he says he so sick of love songs but he is singing one, so stupid

there is actually this awsome new rap song i just heard like a half hour ago, it is by lupe fiasco its called "kick push" it is sweet because it is about skateboarding. major props to him for being the first rapper to make a song for the skaters....good job LUPE

Rock difinitely. Rock is not only about music. It's about a way of life, about freedom. Rapper dudes are fine too and lately the lines seems to be blurring becaseu some rappers rock while some rockers rap.

when i was a fan of skating and being a little poser i listened to rap and hip hop, but then i played some of the THPS games and was exposed to punk and hard rock now i listen to the punk and alternative stuff. i like some rap and hip hop still though

even though i come from a spanish family and they usaually listen to hip hop and spanish music, i like rock and metal more. i'm sorta the black sheep of the family.

yea, you dont change a whole genre, you just like what you like, listen to what you like and thats it. Dont single out and knock out whole genres, my advice, talk less, listen more.
